Where can I go where I can feel accepted? Where can I find friends...and if I'm lucky, maybe even understand the really important things about life: Why am I here? Where am I going? Who should I go through life with?
What if church could be fun?...as well as a place where you could learn...discover...understand those God things...like faith and forgiveness and how to have a fulfilling life. What if you could "get it" in a way it could be received and understood? Would you be willing to investigate a church like this?
In 1990, my wife and I decided to sell the business. I was the owner of an Executive Search firm and decided to go back to school to receive a Master of Divinity degree and end a 20 year professional career. Crazy.
We had a vision...go back to our native Wisconsin (from Georgia) and start a church in Walworth County where we knew nobody. We would do church in a fun way, a loving way, and a great way. Kids, families and relationships would be important. We would focus on reaching, encouraging and equipping people for Christ and His Ministry. This church would be a church that would express love to God and people...through prayer, Biblical teaching, great music and building relationships that could last for eternity.
